I am upgrading to ACT! 2013/ACT! v16, or higher; what is needed for Handheld Contact?

If you plan on upgrading your ACT! database to ACT! 2013 version 15.0 or higher, you will need to compelete the following:

1. Ensure that ACT! is upgraded and working properly before proceeding.
2. Close Handheld Contact on the PC/server.
3. Go to: www.handheldcontact.com/downloads.php.
4. Select the latest version (4.x.x.x) of Handheld Contact for the matching version of ACT!.
5. Choose Save to keep a copy of the download file, or choose Run to begin the install.
6. Install overtop of the existing Handheld Contact software. Choose 'Yes' if prompted to upgrade.
7. Complete the install process using the default options.
8. Once complete, press Finish and Handheld Contact should open automatically. If not, just launch HHC from the Desktop icon.

Note: If you have ACT! 2012 or less and are running an existing version of Handheld Contact, you cannot follow the UPGRADE steps as HHC will already have the lastest version installed and the 'Check for Updates' will not indicate there is a new version available.
